Purpose of Society

The name of this non-profit society is the Frank J. Veith International Society (FJVIS).  The society is incorporated in the state of New York in the United States of America. Vascular Surgery is defined as the specialty that manages vascular disorders exclusive of those in the heart and brain by medical, endovascular or open operative means.

The objectives of the Frank J. Veith international society is to help young vascular fellows, surgeons and those with an interest in vascular disease management advance their careers. The society promotes education as well as collaboration with a network of upper echelon Vascular Surgery leaders.  Together we can preserve and protect the heritage of our specialty. The society’s objectives are those of Dr. Frank J. Veith, that is to advance Vascular Surgery in the 21st century.
