Vascular surgeons, interventional radiologists, interventional cardiologists, interventional neuroradiologists, and vascular medicine specialists from around the world are invited to submit abstracts for presentation at the FJVIS Associate Faculty Program at VEITHsymposium.

Fellows and residents are likewise encouraged to contribute their research.

The winning presenter will also be featured on the Frank J. Veith International Society website, including their photo and presentation title. All accepted abstracts will appear in a Supplement of the Journal of Vascular Surgery (JVS). The November 2026 Associate Faculty Abstract Presentations Program is designated as a Non‑CME activity.

GUIDELINES:

  1. Abstracts should be written in English and submitted by the presenting author no later than September 30, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time.

  2. The presenter’s name should be bolded on the abstract for easy identification.

  3. Abstracts must include the title of the abstract, the full name of author(s) and credential(s)/degree(s), the full name of any/all co-author(s) and corresponding credential(s)/degree(s), institution, and country of origin.

  4. Abstracts may have up to 5 co-authors (total of 6 authors) unless it is from a multi-center study. Additional co-authors should be listed as et al.

  5. Abstracts should not exceed 350 words beyond the title, the name of the author(s), institution, and country of origin.

  6. Each presenter may submit up to three abstracts but can present only one abstract.

  7. All presentations will be 5-minute presentations, given from the Podium, and must be given in English. Abstracts submitted to the J. Leonel Villavicencio Latin American Program may be given in English, Spanish or Portuguese.

  8. Presenters of accepted abstracts will be notified within 3 weeks of submission. The presenters’ name will be listed as an Associate Faculty on the VEITHsymposium website upon acceptance of the abstract.

  9. Upon submission of your abstract, you will be required to attest to whether your abstract was written entirely by the listed human authors and no Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools were used to generate, draft, or write any portion of the submitted text.

  10. A separate, paid registration for the meeting will be required. As an Associate Faculty, you will receive a reduced registration fee to attend the entire VEITHsymposium. You will be responsible for your own travel, lodging and other expenses.

The Associate Faculty Podium Presentations will be held on Wednesday, November 18-Friday, November 20, 2026 at the New York Hilton Midtown in New York City.
